"Achieving meaningful improvements
in soil, water, air quality and the
industry's impact on biodiversity."

Through the Canada-Saskatchewan Farm Stewardship Program (CSFSP), the federal and provincial governments provide eligible producers in Saskatchewan with financial assistance to develop and implement viable and environmentally sustainable practices.

The Farm Stewardship program helps to accelerate the adoption of Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs) on Saskatchewan farms and positively impact the agricultural landscape. Saskatchewan producers who have successfully completed an Environmental Farm Plan may qualify for up to $50,000 in cost-shared funding to implement one or more Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs).
