Watershed/Farm Stewarship Advisors

PCAB’s Advisors can assist producers in the identification and implementation of BMPs for their agricultural operations. They are also able to connect producers to the technical resources and people who may be needed to help plan or implement BMPs. For example, an Advisor could connect a livestock farmer to a technical specialist to help improve grazing systems

The services of Watershed/Farm Stewardship Advisors are free to producers, and they can provide assistance in completing the CSFSP application form. Their goal is to help connect producers to the sound technical resources they need to get their BMPs off the ground.

The use of an Advisor is highly recommended to help ensure that the planning of the BMPs meets the program goals and that the application forms are properly completed.

Confidential advice
The Farm Stewardship program is based on the same voluntary, confidential and collaborative principles as the EFP. Privacy is a major priority for the Saskatchewan EFP and FS programs. As such, producers can be assured that PCAB is committed to protecting the privacy of every program participant.
